WOOD SLICE HOLLY & BERRIES

 

Holly and Berries represent the beginning of Christmas time for me.

Their waxy leaves and bright red berries are a happy image.

Cedar trees, right from our farm that have fallen naturally, are used for fence rails, kindling 

and Crow Cottage Co. crafts.

Each cedar slice is cut, dried, sanded, painted with an original design  ✍️ ,

You may recognize this design from my

hand drawn ink and watercolour cards here

...no two are exactly alike.

Finished with a water based sealer, for a smooth finish. 

The finish is also essential to help prevent cracking to your wooden keepsake.

Ornament size is approximately 2.5-3" Diameter

Naturally occurring imperfections are present in every piece of wood

so each ornament is unique and one-of-a-kind

that’s what is so wonderful about nature.
